They’re hanging, they’re hanging, and they’re still hanging! Remember how the winning photos of the spring Mini Fotomarathon in the Rührstädt NABU visitor centre were presented? Well the exhibition is still there and visitors are still enjoying and even photographing them. We went to have a look and are proud of our great participants. Only the storks were gone. On Saturday 29th April over 50 participants made their way to Rühstädt to participate in the first ever Mini-Fotomarathon Berlin outside Berlin. This took place in cooperation with the NABU visitor centre in Rühstädt, otherwise known as the European capital of storks.

Participants braved quite unstable weather to get to know the surroindings of the village and some even ventured to the area by the river where the Elbe and the Have river meet, the main habitat of storks and other wildlife in the area. The NABU […]

We congratulate all winners for their efforts and beautiful series. We would also like to thank our generous Partners for their support.

2016 Fotomarathon x 7: Berlin winners

These are the three photos that are representing Berlin in the Fotomarathon exhibitions around the world. The initiative “Fotomarathon x 7” conveys photos from seven cities: Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, Dublin, Nice, Patras and Shenyang. All events took place in June 2016 and had a shared common theme “the perfect place”. Each city chooses their favourite three photos, and these are sent to the other cities to be shown in the exhibition.
